Starting June 1, 2026, every single swipe of your Tria Card earns you money back automatically. We’ve designed a tiered cashback system that rewards your everyday spending, paid out directly in USDT on Arbitrum.
Here is everything you need to know about how the program works, your monthly limits, and how to maximize your rewards.
How It Works
100% Automatic: There is nothing to activate or claim. Just use your card and earn.
Monthly Spend Caps: Each month, your spending up to a specific limit (your "cap") earns your highest premium rate plus any active boosts.
Never Stop Earning: If you spend past your monthly cap, you will still earn cashback, just at a lower, flat rate.
Boost Your Rewards: Have an active Staking badge? That extra percentage stacks right on top of your base rate for all spending within your monthly cap.
Cashback Rates & Monthly Caps
Your cashback rate and monthly cap depend entirely on your Tria card tier.
Card Tier | Rate Within Cap | Monthly Spend Cap | Rate Above Cap |
Free Virtual | 1.5% | $100 | 0.5% |
Plastic | 4.5% | $1,000 | 1% |
Metal | 6.0% | $2,000 | 1% |
Want to supercharge your earnings? Any active boost (like a Staking badge) is added directly on top of your "Rate Within Cap." For example, if you have a Plastic card (4.5%) and a +0.5% Staking boost, you'll earn 5.0% on all spending up to your $1,000 monthly cap! (Note: Boosts do not apply to spending above the monthly cap).
Important Program Details
One Cap Per User: Your monthly cap is tied to your account, not individual cards. If you have both a Virtual and a Plastic card, they share a single $1,000 cap (based on your highest tier).
Monthly Resets: Your spending counter resets back to zero on the first day of every month, unlocking your full premium rate again.
Forward-Looking Upgrades: If you upgrade your card tier mid-month, your new rate and cap apply only to purchases made after the upgrade.
Refunds & Returns: If you return an item, the cashback earned on that specific purchase will be deducted from your rewards balance proportionally.
Tria Travel: Please note that Tria Travel bookings are separate and do not count toward this cashback program.
No Retroactive Changes: This program officially starts on June 1, 2026. Spending from previous months will not be recalculated under these new rules.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: How do I activate or claim my cashback?
A: You don’t have to! Cashback is completely automatic and tracks every time you swipe your active Tria card.
Q: When and how do I get paid?
A: Cashback is paid out in USDT on the Arbitrum network. Rewards are processed and distributed in periodic batches through our Merkle distribution system, so they will not appear instantly after each individual swipe.
Q: Why did my cashback rate suddenly drop this month?
A: You have likely exceeded your monthly spend cap. Any spending below your cap earns your premium rate + boosts. Any spending above the cap earns the standard post-cap rate (0.5% for Virtual, 1% for Plastic/Metal). Your premium rate will return when the cap resets next month.
Q: Why isn't my Staking boost applying to all of my spending?
A: Boosts are designed to maximize your earnings on your core monthly spending. Because of this, boosts only apply to purchases made within your monthly spend cap. Spending above the cap earns the flat post-cap rate.
Q: I have two active cards. Do I get two separate caps?
A: No. Caps are per user, not per card. Your account is given a single cap based on your highest active card tier, and spending across all of your cards counts toward that one cap.
Q: How do I get extra "boost" cashback?
A: Currently, you can earn extra cashback by holding an active Staking badge. (Keep an eye out—a VIP trading boost is coming in the future!)
Q: Why did my cashback balance decrease?
A: When a merchant processes a refund, the cashback originally earned on that purchase is clawed back from your balance.
Q: If I upgrade my card mid-month, can I get the higher rate on my earlier purchases?
A: Card upgrades apply going forward only. Purchases made before the upgrade keep the original tier's rate and count toward the original cap. Only purchases made after the upgrade will feature the new tier's benefits.
