The Core Rules
Earn-Only: Points can only be earned. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or cashed out.
Points Accumulate: You don't "spend" your points to get boxes. Your points keep stacking up all season long, automatically unlocking higher-tier boxes as your total grows.
Month-End Openings: All earned boxes unlock globally at the end of each month (starting August 31).
Never Expire: Once you earn a box, it is yours forever. If you miss an opening night, your box will be waiting for you in your inventory indefinitely.
Seasonal Reset: Your points balance resets to zero at the start of each new season, giving everyone a fresh head start.
How to Earn Points & Bonuses
You can rack up points through everyday card spending, perpetual trading, and three massive, one-time seasonal bonuses.
1. Everyday Activities
Virtual Card Spend: Earn 1 Point per $1 spent.
Physical Card Spend (Highest Tier): Earn 1.5 Points per $1 spent.
Hyperliquid Perps Trading: Earn 1 Point per $100 of notional volume (calculated on your position size, not your margin).
Decibel Perps Trading: Earn 1.05 Points per $100 of notional volume (enjoy a 5% premium on Decibel for Season 3!).
2. One-Time Season 3 Bonuses
These bonuses kick in automatically the moment you hit the milestone and can be earned once per season:
First Card Transaction Bonus (+2,500 Pts): Automatically triggers on your very first card swipe of the season.
Cumulative Perps Trade Bonus (+5,000 Pts): Triggers the moment your total combined trading volume across Hyperliquid and Decibel hits $10,000. Multiple smaller trades all count toward this grand total!
Membership Bonus (+2,500 Pts): Awarded the moment you hold an active Signature or Premium membership during the season. Even if your membership carried over from a previous season, you get this bonus automatically at the season's start.
Share the Wealth: Referral Points
When you invite friends to Tria, you earn a 10% points match on all of their core spending and trading activity (their base per-dollar points).
Note: To keep things fair and prevent farming, the 10% referral match applies only to their everyday per-dollar earnings, not on their flat seasonal bonuses.
The Mystery Box Tiers
As your cumulative points grow, you will unlock up to seven tiers of Mystery Boxes. You can earn a maximum of one box per tier, per season.

The Infinity Box: This ultimate hidden tier has no public points threshold. The trigger is a closely guarded secret and may drop via a future surprise campaign or mechanic.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: I made a card purchase or a trade, but my points didn't show up immediately. Is it broken?
A: No need to worry! Perpetuals trades usually process within minutes. Card transactions, however, require the merchant network to fully settle first. Your card points will land in your account within 24 hours of the transaction officially settling (which can take 48 hours to a few days from the initial swipe).
Q: I unlocked a box, but the "Open" button is greyed out. Why?
A: In Season 3, all boxes follow a synchronized monthly opening schedule. Instead of opening immediately, your boxes stay in a secure "locked-with-preview" state until the next global opening night (August 31, September 30, October 31, etc.). The exact unlock date will always be displayed as a countdown caption directly on your box.
Q: Do my boxes automatically open at the end of the month?
A: No. Boxes never auto-open. The tap is part of the reward ritual! Once opening day arrives, the "Open" button will activate, and you can tap it whenever you are ready to reveal your prizes.
Q: What happens if I forget to open my box before the month ends or the season changes?
A: Your earned boxes never expire. Any unclaimed boxes simply move into a dedicated "Unclaimed from Season N" tray in your inventory. You can open them at any time, even seasons down the road, and they will always contain the rewards from the specific season you earned them in.
Q: What is the "Tria Equity Draw" in the Rare and Legendary boxes?
A: On top of the guaranteed cash payouts ($5,000 for Rare, $20,000 for Legendary), these boxes grant you a direct allocation/entry into our end-of-season equity distribution. The final legal structures and selection rules are being finalized alongside our legal workstreams ahead of the season's close.
Q: Why did my points balance go down?
A: If you receive a refund or a partial return on a card purchase, the points originally generated by that purchase (and your referrer's 10% match) are proportionally deducted from the balance. Note: Refunding a card order will never claw back your 2,500-point Membership Bonus once it has been triggered.
Q: Why didn't I get points on a specific card purchase?
A: Card transactions made at merchants on our standard exclusion list (the same list used for card cashback) do not generate points.
Q: Can I track exactly how many points each of my referrals is making me?
A: To protect user privacy, we do not show individual leaderboards or aggregated point breakdowns per friend. However, you will see real-time notifications labeled "From [Name]'s spend" right in your Points activity history stream whenever an indirect bonus lands!
